Description
Condensate Pumps
The condensate pumps are vertical multistage centrifugal pumps that draw from the condensate receiver tank which operates at a vacuum. Inlet and outlet connections of the pump are near grade level but the pump shaft and impellers extend below grade to allow for an increased head pressure at the suction point to avoid cavitation. A small flow, removed from the pump discharge, is injected into the shaft seal to prevent any air entering the condensate flow through that point.
