Vacuum Pump

Two vacuum pumps are to be included with the ACC and sized to establish and/or maintain a vacuum on the turbine exhaust duct, ACC, and condensate receiver tank. A single pump would maintain a vacuum on the system during operation; however, both pumps operate at start-up to establish an operational ready status more quickly. The liquid ring vacuum pump option was selected instead of steam jet air ejectors to minimize water consumption.
